We hereby declare the following principles and guidelines for cultivating and celebrating the Flower Power in our nation:

• We respect the diversity and beauty of all flowers, regardless of their shape, size, color, or fragrance. We appreciate the unique contribution of each flower to the floral community and the environment.
• We nurture and protect the flowers in our gardens, parks, and public spaces. We provide them with adequate water, sunlight, soil, and fertilizer. We avoid using harmful pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides that may damage the flowers or the pollinators that visit them.
• We share the joy of flowers with others, by giving bouquets, planting seeds, or joining flower clubs. We celebrate the seasonal changes and the special occasions that flowers mark. We learn about the history, culture, and symbolism of different flowers and appreciate their stories.
• We advocate for the conservation and preservation of wildflowers and endangered species. We support the efforts of local and national organizations that work to protect the habitats and ecosystems of flowers. We educate ourselves and others about the threats and challenges that flowers face in a changing climate.
• We honor the role of flowers in lives, as sources of inspiration, happiness, and healing. We recognize the benefits of flowers for our mental and physical health, as well as our social and emotional well-being. We express our gratitude and appreciation for the flowers that enrich our lives every day.
